About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Market and technology monitoring: You stay up-to-date on the latest trends, developments and best practices in software and artificial intelligence and assess their applicability at ProVeg.
Knowledge transfer: You ensure that all colleagues have a solid understanding of the possibilities, limitations and risks of our software and AI applications and that they follow our policies and recommendations. To achieve this, you develop online courses, workshops and wiki pages.
Expert role: You enable individual teams to use our software, including AI features, optimally for their specific use cases, and advise leadership teams and our works council on opportunities and risks.
Keeping track of the AI and software landscape: You maintain an overview of the software and AI solutions used at ProVeg and the key projects our international teams are implementing with them.
System selection and implementation: You select the best AI and software solutions for a range of use cases and, in collaboration with the relevant departments, ensure smooth rollout and integration with other systems.
Shaping the future: You have the opportunity to help shape the further development of our software and AI strategy, roadmap and policies to make the most of new technologies and use our resources efficiently.
IT security and data protection: With a keen eye for IT security and data protection, you work closely with our internal data protection coordination to minimize risks and ensure compliance.

Requirements

What you’ll need

You have a completed degree (Master's) in a STEM field or an equivalent qualification through vocational training or further education, e.g., as an IT specialist.
You have a good understanding of artificial intelligence and experience with various AI applications.
You have an affinity for software and can quickly familiarise yourself with new software solutions.
You communicate confidently in written and spoken English and German.
You have a structured and pragmatic working style.
You enjoy learning new things and continuously improving processes.
You identify with ProVeg's goals.
