About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Use proprietary computer software to analyze customer-supplied 3D CAD models and create digital files for manufacturing
Create and send quotes and toolpaths using proprietary software and customer-supplied CAD models
Create quality control checks for manufacturing usage
Resolve issues preventing auto-quoting using internal software
Develop and maintain knowledge of organizational processes to convey benefits and respond to customer inquiries within quotes
Collaborate with internal resources to answer customer questions about processes, materials, or CNC
Assist machine operators as needed
Troubleshoot parts and part creation
Evaluate best practices and improvement opportunities
Comply with company quality and safety standards, policies, and operational procedures
Perform additional assigned tasks

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with CAD/CAM software packages
Ability to learn advanced proprietary graphical computer-aided analysis software
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to comprehend and follow printed and computer-screen instructions and directions from supervisors or technical leads
Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or foreign national granted refugee or asylee status due to ITAR regulations
Temporary visa holders, including E, F-1, H-1, H-2, L, B, J, TN, or OPT, are not eligible for hire
Ability to stand, walk, stoop or kneel and lift or move up to 70 pounds
Eye protection and safety shoes required
