About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage client relationships and provide guidance through engagement completion
- Partner with strategic clients to identify and manage risk
- Develop strategies and solutions for complex business problems using analytics, automation, and current tools and methods
- Develop new projects and identify new business opportunities
- Build lasting relationships with clients and within the community as a Protiviti market ambassador
- Mentor teams and provide growth and development opportunities
- Oversee successful completion of project work plans
- Coordinate client teams, system integrators, and third-party vendors to drive process alignment, organizational readiness, issue resolution, testing, training, and successful deployment outcomes
- Lead or perform requirements definition, design workshops, testing, data conversion, training, cutover, and post-go-live support
- Develop implementation plans and estimate level of effort, timing, and costs
- Lead solution architecture, project management, and/or workstreams for Workday Financials R2R and/or O2C implementations
- Pursue business development opportunities and create new project proposals and sales
- Contribute to thought leadership and knowledge-sharing across teams
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., MIS, Finance/Accounting, Engineering)
- 9+ years working in professional services or industry
- Demonstrated experience leading/managing future state design and process improvement projects focused on Record to Report (R2R) and/or Order to Cash (O2C)
- Experience providing business integrator support for large-scale Workday Financials implementations
- Experience serving as a solution architect, project manager and/or workstream lead for R2R and/or O2C during Workday design and implementation
- Experience managing large, complex Workday Financials implementations
- Experience developing Workday Financials and Accounting Center implementation plans, including estimating level of effort, timing, and costs
- Experience designing and implementing Workday
- Experience leading requirements definition, design workshops, testing, data conversion, training, cutover, and post-go-live support
- Experience establishing and cultivating business relationships and a professional network, including with senior executives
- Experience pursuing business development opportunities and identifying and implementing strategies to obtain new work or clientele
- Ability to translate and communicate issues, risks, or challenges to client personnel, including executives
- Leadership and direct supervisory experience, including performance appraisals, mentoring and coaching, work oversight and review, team coordination, and motivating teams
- Successful completion of a background check required for employment
