About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead client relationships and provide guidance through engagement completion
Partner with strategic clients to identify and manage risk
Develop strategies and solutions for complex business problems using analytics, automation, and current tools and methods
Develop new projects, identify new business, and build lasting client and community relationships
Serve as a Protiviti ambassador in the market
Mentor teams and provide growth and development opportunities
Oversee successful completion of project work plans
Lead and manage Workday Financials design and process improvement projects for R2R and/or O2C
Provide business integrator support across client teams, system integrators, and third-party vendors
Drive process alignment, organizational readiness, issue resolution, testing, training, and successful deployment outcomes
Develop Workday Financials and Accounting Center implementation plans
Lead requirements definition, design workshops, testing, data conversion, training, cutover, and post-go-live support
Establish and cultivate business relationships and professional networks
Pursue business development opportunities and develop proposals and sales strategies
Integrate product solutions and resources to improve client service capabilities
Contribute to thought leadership and encourage knowledge-sharing across teams
Manage a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries
Lead and supervise teams, including performance appraisals, mentoring, coaching, work review, and coordination across teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., MIS, Finance/Accounting, Engineering)
7+ years working in professional services or industry
Demonstrated experience leading/managing future state design and process improvement projects focused on Record to Report (R2R) and/or Order to Cash (O2C)
Experience providing business integrator support for large-scale Workday Financials implementations
Experience serving as a solution architect, project manager and/or workstream lead for R2R and/or O2C during Workday design and implementation
Experience managing large, complex Workday Financials implementations
Experience developing Workday Financials and Accounting Center implementation plans, including effort, timing, and cost estimates
Experience designing and implementing Workday, including requirements definition, design workshops, testing, data conversion, training, cutover, and post-go-live support
Experience establishing business relationships and a professional network, including with senior executives
Experience pursuing business development opportunities and obtaining new work or clientele
Ability to communicate issues, risks, and challenges to client personnel, including executives
Leadership and direct supervisory experience, including performance appraisals, mentoring, coaching, work review, and team coordination
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices
Workday certification in Record to Report and/or Contracts to Cash is strongly preferred; Accounting Center and/or Prism certifications are a plus
Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Python, and Power BI is a strong asset
Successful completion of a background check is required
Must be able to work in the United States; Protiviti is not registered to hire or employ personnel in West Virginia or Alaska
