About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Internal Audit and Financial Advisory consultants work with Protiviti’s clients, who are typically among the world’s leading companies
- Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality, client-focused solutions to complex business problems
- Assess risks, analyze data, document observations, and communicate insights that contribute meaningfully to client engagements
- Participate in Passport to Protiviti, our award-winning onboarding program
- Attend The Consulting Challenge, an experiential learning course that helps build confidence and creates connections
- Develop a strong understanding of business processes, regulatory environments, and risk/control frameworks
- Manage time and priorities effectively, take ownership of assignments, and contribute meaningfully to team outcomes
- Interact with leaders across our practice and receive hands-on training in a supportive, high-performance environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related fields)
- Visa Status: All applicants applying for U.S. job openings need authorization to work in the United States for Protiviti without sponsorship now or in the future
- Demonstrated proficiency in applying AI tools to analytical and research tasks (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, GenAI, etc.)
- Ability to apply critical thinking skills and innovation to client engagements across various industries
- Relevant experience with specific skills: Understanding of internal audit processes, including the use of emerging technologies, understanding frameworks, and achieving audit objectives
- Handling and analyzing data and information in various formats to uncover valuable insights and draw actionable conclusions
- Experience with modern tools and technologies, including Microsoft Office Suite, data visualization tools like Power BI
- Entry-level proficiency in software development, best practices, and methodologies
- Interest in advanced analytics and automation technologies (e.g., Alteryx, MS Power Platform, Python)
