Internal Audit and Financial Advisory consultants work with Protiviti’s clients, who are typically among the world’s leading companies
As a consultant, you collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality, client-focused solutions to the complex business problems these organizations face
Consultants assess risks, analyze data, document observations, and communicate insights that contribute meaningfully to client engagements
A successful consultant manages time and priorities effectively, takes ownership of assignments, and contributes meaningfully to team outcomes
You will participate in Passport to Protiviti, our award-winning onboarding program
You will also attend The Consulting Challenge, an experiential learning course that will help you build confidence and create connections that will help you transition successfully into your role as a consultant
As a consultant, you will be part of Foundations, Protiviti's innovative approach that equips our consultants with the knowledge, skills, technical aptitude, and coaching to become our firm's future leaders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related fields)
Visa Status: All applicants applying for U.S. job openings need authorization to work in the United States for Protiviti without sponsorship now or in the future
Demonstrated proficiency in applying AI tools to analytical and research tasks (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, GenAI, etc.)
Advanced verbal and written communication skills
Ability to apply critical thinking skills and innovation to client engagements across various industries
Technical proficiency aligning with the assigned capability area
Understanding of internal audit processes, including the use of emerging technologies, understanding frameworks, and achieving audit objectives
Handling and analyzing data and information in various formats to uncover valuable insights and draw actionable conclusions
Experience with modern tools and technologies, including Microsoft Office Suite, data visualization tools like Power BI
Entry-level proficiency in software development, best practices, and methodologies
Interest in advanced analytics and automation technologies (e.g., Alteryx, MS Power Platform, Python)
Effectively leverages AI tools with strong human judgment in the loop, driving efficiency in delivery while elevating the quality of insights and outcomes for clients
