About the role
- Support base pay, incentive award, and early career compensation programs using advanced compensation knowledge
- Execute compensation activities in alignment with established policies, guidelines, and methodologies
- Respond to compensation inquiries from HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition; escalate complex issues as appropriate
- Maintain and update salary structures for the North American practice, including range administration and midpoint analysis
- Conduct job pricing analyses using survey data and internal benchmarks, document assumptions and outcomes
- Support internal equity reviews and accurate implementation of structure updates
- Support end-to-end salary survey participation, including job matching, data validation, and submission preparation
- Analyze survey results to identify market trends and support pricing recommendations
- Conduct ongoing compensation research and benchmarking against peer organizations
- Build and maintain compensation models for pay adjustments, promotions, and annual bonus processes
- Perform scenario modeling and data validation to support forecasts and decision-making
- Prepare clear analyses and summaries that translate data into actionable insights
- Partner with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to support hiring and internal movement decisions
- Collaborate with Finance and HR Operations to support budgeting, reporting, and data accuracy
- Communicate findings clearly and professionally, adapting messaging to the audience
- Manage assigned tasks across multiple compensation projects, meeting deadlines and quality standards
- Identify opportunities to improve tools, templates, and processes and support implementation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Human Resources, Finance, Economics, Business, Analytics) or equivalent relevant work experience
- 4+ years of progressive experience in compensation, total rewards, or related analytical roles, preferably in a professional services or matrixed organization
- Experience supporting salary structures, survey participation, and compensation modeling
- Experience with Workday and other compensation administration tools
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
- A strong, genuine curiosity for leveraging M365, AI tools, and platforms like ChatGPT to enhance productivity and problem solving
- Demonstrated budgeting expertise and solid financial acumen to support data driven decisions
- Hands on experience with Payscale / Payfactors
- Strong knowledge of compensation practices and market pricing
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with HR and business partners
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders
- Detail oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and risk awareness
