About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and implement high-availability computer vision serving infrastructure capable of handling the needs of external customers and high-demand workloads
- Lead incident response for critical AI services, using automation to ensure rapid recovery and systematic improvements from each incident
- Build and maintain a metrics-driven, cost-optimised edge platform so we can predict and iteratively improve efficiency as we scale
- Write automation software, implement AWS Greengrass components, tune and automate iptables firewall rules, and maintain remote access and diagnostic tools that keep our safety systems dependable at scale
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of professional experience in systems, embedded, or infrastructure engineering
- Deep expertise with Linux-based operating systems
- Strong coding background in Python, Bash scripting, and system automation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong experience in cloud technologies, preferably AWS
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting networking stacks, such as firewalls and proxies
- Excellent debugging and performance-tuning skills across hardware and OS layers
- Ability to triage and resolve complex system issues in production environments
- Ability to influence technical direction, mentor peers, and drive execution
- Strong analytical, project management, documentation, and process-building skills to support scale
