About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop technical, outcome driven positioning and messaging for Protegrity’s data security and AI capabilities, grounded in customer pain, risk, and compelling business events
  • Translate complex technologies (e.g., semantic encryption, knowledge graph protection) into clear, actionable narratives for data, AI, and security buyers
  • Own the end-to-end Data & AI go-to-market narrative, ensuring all launches, campaigns, and sales motions align to a cohesive market story
  • Build and operationalize launch frameworks rooted in customer pain hypotheses, target personas, proof points, and sales motion (not feature-driven messaging)
  • Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering to shape roadmap narrative and ensure strong product-market fit for data and AI use cases
  • Create high-quality technical content and thought leadership (reference architectures, whitepapers, blogs, demos, webinars) that resonates with both executives and practitioners
  • Lead developer marketing and community engagement, building adoption with AI/ML developers, data engineers, and platform teams through technical content and ecosystem presence
  • Drive cross-functional GTM execution, including sales plays, enablement, partner co-sell motions, and competitive positioning, while acting as the voice of the customer across Product, Sales, Alliances, and Leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Technical Marketing, or related roles within enterprise software, data platforms, cybersecurity, or AI/ML
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver technical, audience-specific messaging for data, AI, or security products
  • Deep understanding of the modern data & AI ecosystem (e.g., RAG, LLMs, copilots, data pipelines, AI governance, MLSecOps)
  • Experience creating technical content and assets (architectures, solution briefs, whitepapers, demos) that stand up to practitioner scrutiny
  • Strong track record of partnering with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to influence roadmap, packaging, and go-to-market strategy
  • Experience building or supporting developer-focused marketing motions, including engagement with technical communities (e.g., GitHub, AI/ML ecosystems)
  • Demonstrated ability to translate market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights into actionable GTM strategy and positioning
  • Exceptional executive communication, storytelling, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate cross-functionally
