About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform investment accounting activities supporting month-end close
Maintain accuracy and integrity of investment data within Protective’s accounting systems and reporting tools
Support GAAP and Statutory financial reporting
Partner with accounting, investment operations, and asset management teams
Assist with onboarding new investment assets
Support implementation of new accounting standards
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
Participate in system testing, enhancements, and special projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited university
3+ years of accounting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
Technically proficient with accounting systems
Understanding of system and process flows
Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams inside and outside the organization
