About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

- Apply operations research techniques to improve coordination and management of organizational resources.
- Analyze issues related to strategy, planning, forecasting, scheduling, supply chain management, and performance measurement.
- Gather operational data and select appropriate analytical techniques such as simulation, linear programming, dynamic programming, or stochastic modeling.
- Develop mathematical models to describe systems and evaluate alternative scenarios.
- Provide recommendations based on analytical findings to support government decision‑making

Requirements

What you’ll need

- A Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in operations research.
- Experience with Navy-based operations is preferred.
- **A minimum Secret security clearance or higher is required to be considered for this position.****
**EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS**
- A Bachelor’s level degree or higher Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field.
