About the role
- Perform all daily functions associated with the administrative tasks as it relates to Letters of Credit.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and Prosperity Bank policies and procedures.
- Establish and maintain effective partnerships with lenders, borrowers, other bank staff, and Letter of Credit beneficiaries.
- Oversee the Outlook Calendars, scheduling Letters of Credit and monitoring multiple email inboxes.
- Handle daily administrative tasks, ordering supplies, answering phones, copying, scanning, or printing documents as needed.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, UPS, FedEx, emails, and faxes, preparing, and distributing documents.
- Maintain file room and accurate filing systems, both physical and digital, retrieving documents as needed.
- Input data into Letter of Credit Dept. spreadsheets and databases, maintaining accurate records.
- Reconciles core system to monitoring spreadsheets daily and maintains such spreadsheets accurately.
- Complete Quality Control of onboarded loans and Letters of Credit.
- Provide additional Admin support to coworkers when needed.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of Prosperity Bank policies, procedures, guidelines, and philosophies.
- Follow all compliance policies and procedures, state and federal laws governing all aspects of Commercial lending and Letters of Credit.
- Perform other duties, tasks and special projects as required, assigned or directed.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Prior experience in a financial institution preferred.
- Working in an office environment, performing administrative tasks, and providing support to coworkers.
- The ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
