About the role
- Manage the full sales cycle from building the pipeline to closing deals
- Strategically, thoughtfully, and pessimistically forecast prospects
- Leverage objective systems and processes that are metrics-based to properly forecast
- Provide feedback to the Director of Sales and fuel growth strategy
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
- Actively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social selling
- Set up meetings with potential clients and effectively qualify their fit for ProShop
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
- Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate leads
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results and mentor junior AEs
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share it with internal teams
- Take a professionalized metrics-based systematic methodical approach to sell higher ACV subscription products
- Implement the MEDDPICC sales approach
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned
Requirements
- Must be based in North America (United States or Canada)
- 4-7 years of Sales Executive (or relevant role) experience
- Hands-on experience with CRM software; Hubspot is a plus
- Thorough understanding of qualifying and negotiating techniques
- Fast learner with a passion for sales
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
- Experience and knowledge of ERP, MES, and MRP software systems
- Experience with the manufacturing industry
- Leadership experience is a plus
- Commitment to following and achieving through the MEDDPICC sales methodology
- Experience analyzing sales performance metrics and negotiating contracts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
