About the role

  • Manage the full sales cycle from building the pipeline to closing deals
  • Strategically, thoughtfully, and pessimistically forecast prospects
  • Leverage objective systems and processes that are metrics-based to properly forecast
  • Provide feedback to the Director of Sales and fuel growth strategy
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Actively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social selling
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and effectively qualify their fit for ProShop
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate leads
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results and mentor junior AEs
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share it with internal teams
  • Take a professionalized metrics-based systematic methodical approach to sell higher ACV subscription products
  • Implement the MEDDPICC sales approach
  • Perform other duties or projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be based in North America (United States or Canada)
  • 4-7 years of Sales Executive (or relevant role) experience
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software; Hubspot is a plus
  • Thorough understanding of qualifying and negotiating techniques
  • Fast learner with a passion for sales
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
  • Experience and knowledge of ERP, MES, and MRP software systems
  • Experience with the manufacturing industry
  • Leadership experience is a plus
  • Commitment to following and achieving through the MEDDPICC sales methodology
  • Experience analyzing sales performance metrics and negotiating contracts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • No sponsorship or relocation offered
