About the role
- Lead sales to the life sciences segments (Pharma, CROs and biotech companies) in a defined territory (US) or strategic accounts (Global).
- Develop and execute a successful sales strategy for rapid revenue growth and market share expansion in your defined territory.
- Contribute to business growth by meeting or exceeding bookings/ orders expectations.
- Initialize and coordinate all efforts to select strategic accounts assigned to you to maximize the opportunity for the sale of Proscia's life sciences portfolio.
- Develop, maintain, and improve relations with all relevant accounts to keep or to set Proscia as the preferred supplier.
- Ensure continuity of the relationship and operate at the highest level in the accounts' organizations, facilitating the executive level interfaces.
- Accurately complete and maintain sales forecast, customer data and other records in an orderly and timely fashion (SFDC).
- Provide active inputs into local marketing strategies.
- Participate in monitoring and reporting on the activities of competitors, potential collaborators, as well as identifying business opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years - OR - Master’s degree with 5+ years of proven experience in enterprise software sales to Life Sciences Organizations.
- Proven ability to target key accounts and management in the territory and identify market potential.
- Preference shall be given to candidates with experience in the life sciences R&D space (sales, business development) including but not limited to drug discovery, compounds research, toxicology pathology.
- Proven network with senior leadership in Pharma and CROs is a certain plus.
- Knowledge and experience in digital pathology (or oncology broadly), image analysis, and AI solutions is a certain plus but not a must have.
- Demonstrated ability to perform against established performance goals and metrics.
- Willing to undertake significant travel (minimum 35-40%).
- Willingness to independently work in a non-hierarchical company.
- Ability and curiosity to learn.
- Fluent in business English, verbal and written.
