About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and standard work on all packaging and automation equipment to maximize reliability and minimize downtime
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic issues on Auto baggers, Epson SCARA robots, hardware counting systems, and ancillary machinery
- Assist with installation, commissioning, and modification of new or existing equipment and automation systems
- Collaborate with operations and quality teams to improve equipment performance
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and automation upgrades
- Maintain tools, spare parts inventory, and work areas in a clean and orderly condition
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting automated packaging machinery, industrial automation, robotics, or similar electromechanical equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical failures quickly
- Solid electronics and troubleshooting background (reading schematics, sensors, controls, basic PLC/HMI knowledge preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and documentation skills
