About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and standard work on all packaging and automation equipment to maximize reliability and minimize downtime
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic issues on Auto baggers, Epson SCARA robots, hardware counting systems, and ancillary machinery
  • Assist with installation, commissioning, and modification of new or existing equipment and automation systems
  • Collaborate with operations and quality teams to improve equipment performance
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and automation upgrades
  • Maintain tools, spare parts inventory, and work areas in a clean and orderly condition

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting automated packaging machinery, industrial automation, robotics, or similar electromechanical equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical failures quickly
  • Solid electronics and troubleshooting background (reading schematics, sensors, controls, basic PLC/HMI knowledge preferred)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Attention to detail and safety awareness
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
