About the role
- Act in process safety engineering across the different project phases (Conceptual, FEED and Detailed Engineering)
- Lead and/or participate in risk studies, such as HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, SIL, Bow-Tie and QRA
- Develop, review and approve process safety documents, including safety philosophies, risk analysis reports, risk matrices and technical recommendations
- Assess risk scenarios related to production, separation, treatment, utilities and flare systems
- Ensure compliance with applicable international process safety standards and codes
- Manage technical interfaces with other disciplines (Process, Instrumentation, Electrical, Naval, Structural and Operations)
- Act as the process safety technical focal point for clients, partners and global teams
- Contribute to standardization, continuous improvement and the dissemination of process safety knowledge at a global level
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Solid experience in Process Safety applied to offshore projects
- Strong knowledge of process risk analysis and risk management
- Practical experience with methodologies such as HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, SIL and QRA
- Knowledge and application of international process safety standards and best practices
- Familiarity with tools and software used for risk studies and process safety documentation
- Fluent English (mandatory)
- Availability for occasional offshore assignments
