About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

- You’ll join our Core Applications team, responsible for building the essential systems that help every team at Propeller operate, innovate and deliver value seamlessly. As the backbone of our platform, this team enables engineers, product managers and business teams to move faster and more effectively, driving the business’s success and scalability.
- In this role, you will also have a direct impact on our customers by contributing to projects such as modernising authentication systems, ensuring secure handling of large-scale data ingestion, managing and tracking petabytes of data, and developing features for our largest clients. You will also play a part in shaping the platform’s architecture, using your system thinking to help ensure scalability and efficiency as our product evolves.
- This cross-functional role will give you the opportunity to collaborate on high impact projects that span multiple teams, get exposure to all parts of the system and develop a broad skill set, from infrastructure and developer tooling, to backend and frontend. You will lead and deliver impactful solutions efficiently, with a high commitment to quality and scalability.

Requirements

What you’ll need

- You’ve got 6+ years experience working in Typescript with Node.js or Python with Django/Flask frameworks
- You bring some experience working with Frontend development and are eager to expand your knowledge further
- You have a strong commitment to writing clean, maintainable code that adheres to best practices.
- You’re a natural communicator and enjoy working on projects in a cross collaborative manner
- You’re an excellent collaborator who knows how to bring out the best in your colleagues, regardless of their strengths or areas for improvement.
