About the role

  • As a Senior Software Engineer at Propeller, you'll play an important role in architecting, building and scaling our mobile app using a React Native WebView-based architecture.
  • You’ll contribute to feature development from planning through to release and help shape the future of our mobile experience.
  • You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver high-quality features, improve app performance, and ensure a smooth, scalable user experience.
  • The best part? You’ll be part of a greenfield mobile project—building complex, high-impact features from the ground up, rather than just maintaining legacy code. You'll have opportunities to influence technical decisions and grow your expertise while solving meaningful engineering challenges alongside a supportive team.

Requirements

  • You have deep technical expertise in React and TypeScript, and you’re comfortable making architectural decisions.
  • You bring strong curiosity and thought leadership to hybrid app development and its evolving ecosystem.
  • You lead feature development across the full lifecycle, driving technical direction and ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • You partner closely with product and design, influencing solutions and shaping the user experience.
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment, mentor others, and actively elevate the engineering culture

  • You have hands-on experience building, profiling and shipping iOS/Android apps using React Native.
  • You have experience with mobile CI/CD tools like EAS, Fastlane, or Bitrise
  • You know your way around test automation tools like Appium or LambdaTest
