About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead multiple VCO projects and workstreams end-to-end, owning scope, schedule, budget, team resourcing, and outcomes from initiative design through stage-gate close-out and value realization
- Oversee and ensure integrity of labor synergy and headcount tracking across the program master roster, including monthly reconciliation
- Lead the design, planning, and execution of integration and transformation workstreams — including TSA management
- Author and own executive-level materials for SteerCo, Board, and ELT reviews
- Own and continuously improve the VCO’s monthly operating review (MOR) cadence across the five lines of business
- Build, own, and refine advanced financial models, business cases, and variance analyses
- Lead Corporate Development workstreams in partnership with senior VCO leadership
- Drive the development of scalable solutions and governance that enable sustainable growth and operational excellence beyond immediate integration
- Lead workstreams within the VCO’s commercial intelligence initiative (Project Oculus)
- Proactively identify, scope, and prioritize enterprise-level risks across assigned portfolios
- Lead, mentor, and develop direct reports and project team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
- 5+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, project/program management, corporate development, or transformation roles
- Experience in M&A integration, post-merger synergy capture, or corporate transformation is required
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional project teams and deliver quality results on time and on budget across multiple concurrent workstreams
- Prior experience in a PE-backed portfolio company environment, an Integration Management Office (IMO) / Value Creation Office (VCO), or a top-tier management consulting firm is highly desirable
- Experience leading and developing direct reports or project team members is strongly preferred.
