About the role

  • Supports day-to-day operations of the finance department developing a general understanding of all aspects of administration of the finance function including policies, procedures and processes
  • Gain exposure to various assessments and resources including 1099 reporting, W2, and stock transactions
  • Primary focus will be working with and supporting the finance department
  • Provides assistance with special projects as needed
  • Additional duties are assigned

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in graduate or undergraduate degree program in a finance related field at recognized college or university
  • High/Basic degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
  • Strong/Basic analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
  • Strong/Basic verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
  • Solid/Basic understanding and application of mathematical concepts
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and management
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
  • Ability to work overtime as necessary
