Advise on legal risks, strategies and structures for commercial energy transactions
Handle general industry compliance, regulatory and pipeline related matters
Structure, draft, negotiate and facilitate commercial transactions
Advise on compliance and regulatory matters
Effectively manage outside counsel
Develop strong rapport with business teams
Represent the Company to customers, suppliers, and governmental agencies

Requirements

What you’ll need

J.D. Degree required
Licensed to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction
Minimum 10+ years of progressively responsible corporate/commercial legal experience
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
General working familiarity of regulatory regimes governing energy market activities
Basic working knowledge of the UCC, bankruptcy and insolvency law
Must be willing and able to travel
