Lead and coach Named Account Managers across the Southeast region
Identify, develop, and retain high talent who deliver value to the company’s business
Hands-on role with the field sales organization, including direct participation in closing business with key accounts
Establish and maintain key select customer relationships and develop strategies for expanding the company’s customer base
Develop a comprehensive strategy and set of tactics to maximize Proofpoint sales into each assigned account
Lead and develop strategies for prospecting and cultivation of all new sales opportunities
Provide oversight to team in forecasting sales opportunities accurately and achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with each respective customer / account
Build demand generation plans with marketing and drive outbound calling and pipeline development
Requirements
7+ years of experience successfully leading high performing field sales teams spread over a large geography
Prior experience selling Security or Enterprise SaaS solutions
Strong knowledge of new and current technologies and trends specifically in the security industry
Strong security industry contacts in the prospective customer and influencer communities
Outstanding consultative selling skills and ability to clearly and effectively articulate the company’s value proposition
Strong business acumen with the ability to create a business plan, build a strong business pipeline, accurately forecast and close business
Experience driving and participating in outbound calling
Experience building demand generation plans with marketing
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to conduct sales presentations and interact effectively with internal and external customers at all levels
