About the role
- Develop and deliver technical training sessions, webinars, and workshops to empower Resellers and Distributors with the necessary knowledge to promote and sell our email, compliance, and cloud security products
- Collaborate with Channel Partners to provide pre-sales technical support, including product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and solution design to address customer requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key Channel Partners in the region, assisting them in developing sales strategies, identifying opportunities, and achieving sales targets
- Act as a technical advisor and subject matter expert for Proofpoint’s products, addressing complex technical queries, and providing guidance on best practices and implementation
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align channel strategies, campaigns, and initiatives to drive revenue growth and expand market presence
- Gather feedback from Channel Partners and customers to identify potential product enhancements and work with product management and development teams to improve solutions
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and provide insights to Channel Partners
Requirements
- Sales Engineering experience, specifically within the cybersecurity industry
- Previous experience working with Resellers, Distributors, or other Channel Partners is essential
- Deep understanding of email and cloud security solutions, including knowledge of security protocols, threat detection, encryption, and data protection technologies
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and finding innovative solutions
