About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of solutions engineers focused on enterprise customer acquisition and expansion
  • Serve as a player-coach by actively participating in strategic customer engagements, technical discovery, product demos, architectural discussions and proof of concepts
  • Partner closely with sales leadership and account executives to drive complex enterprise deals from initial qualification through technical validation and solution alignment
  • Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to prospects and customers across fraud prevention, identity verification, digital trust, and transaction security workflows
  • Translate customer pain points and business requirements into scalable technical solutions leveraging Proof’s platform capabilities
  • Establish and continuously iterate upon pre-sales best practices, demo strategy, technical enablement, and operational processes to improve team effectiveness and scalability
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, customer success to influence roadmap priorities and improve customer outcomes
  • Support expansion into new verticals, use cases, and strategic partnerships
  • Represent Proof at customer meetings, executive presentations, conferences, and industry events

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or other customer-facing technical roles within enterprise SaaS, fintech, or payments environments
  • Experience leading or mentoring solutions engineers in a high-growth environment
  • Strong technical fluency across areas such as fraud prevention, identity verification, fintech infrastructure, payments, APIs, authentication, and digital trust
  • Proven experience supporting enterprise sales motions and navigating complex technical buying cycles with executive stakeholders
  • Experience working with banks, financial institutions, fintech companies, or highly regulated industries
  • Strong consultative discovery skills with the ability to align technical solutions to customer business objectives
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to to engage with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Hands-on approach with a genuine passion for technology, customer engagement, and technical problem solving
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced evolving environment with a high degree of ownership and autonomy
