About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee billing and collections for assigned third-party payors
Ensure timely and accurate submission, follow-up, and resolution of all issues
Understand and communicate changes in payer guidelines and policies
Ensure proper revenue booking
Focus on meeting or exceeding goals and deadlines
Collaborate with the team to identify root causes and address denial trends
Document all actions taken on accounts worked, according to the department policy
Protect patient privacy and confidentiality
Demonstrate strong cybersecurity awareness and practices
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or equivalent
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite is required
DME, Medical Reimbursement and Brightree experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
