About the role
- Front-line leadership role overseeing a team focused on sourcing and driving new business opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and expanding Prompt’s market presence
- Align team performance with company-wide growth objectives and build a high-accountability culture rooted in clear expectations, fast feedback, and continuous improvement
- Coach outreach strategy, join partnership conversations, unblock opportunities in real time, and ensure strong cross-functional collaboration
- Lead development and communication of a clear and inspiring vision for business growth
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing business development team; empower through professional development and skills enhancement
- Establish and track KPIs for the business development team; regularly evaluate performance and adjust strategies to optimize results
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to Sales Leadership to drive sustainable growth, build new markets, and enhance competitive advantage
- Guide data-driven decision-making and act as a hands-on leader to solve complex challenges
- Encourage exploration of new technologies, business models, and market opportunities to innovate and address customer needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years managing BDRs in SaaS (ideally vertical) environment
- Healthcare experience a plus but not required
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple levels of the organization
- A leader with a track record of driving business growth, inspiring teams, and building successful partnerships
- Strong financial acumen and experience with business planning, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Experience with CRM tools and data analytics to inform decision-making
- Located near Hoboken, NJ (local candidates preferred but not required)
