About the role
- Work directly with utilities and government agencies to integrate Promise’s payment and relief products into their existing systems
- Dive into customer environments, untangling complexity and crafting creative technical solutions that work in the real world
- Improve Promise’s products based on first-hand deployment context; build features when needed
- Travel occasionally to join customers on-site to ensure smooth operations and strengthen relationships
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, product, delivery, and sales to deliver deployments and long-term partnerships
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience building and deploying production software
- Experience in a customer-facing technical role where you balanced empathy with technical rigor
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn JavaScript / TypeScript, ETL tools, SQL, React
- Curiosity, grit, and ability to explore, experiment, and document solutions
- Collaboration across engineering, design, product, delivery, and sales
- Willingness to travel occasionally and join customers on-site
- Must be a US person (US citizen or permanent resident) and reside in the US
