About the role

  • Work directly with Promise’s utility and government customers to integrate Payment Plans and Government products within their existing systems.
  • Serve as a post-sales, customer-facing technical engineer, understanding customer requirements and resolving concerns.
  • Build reliability and automation into the implementation process from start to finish.
  • Collaborate across teams, determine scalable solutions, and document implementations for future teams.
  • Occasionally travel onsite to customer locations and support customer success throughout implementation.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience as a software engineer, showcasing experience in building and deploying production software in a fluid environment.
  • Customer-facing experience in a post-sales technical or implementation role.
  • Experience with technologies like Next.js, NodeJs, React, Java, Docker, and SQL databases (PostgreSQL).
  • Ability to build rapid context, cross team collaboration, strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
  • Experience working with enterprise Customer Information Systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel onsite occasionally.
  • Must be a US person (US citizen or permanent resident) and reside in the United States; work authorization required.
