About the role
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and influencers with the DMR partners and resellers
- Drive partner success through co-selling Promethean’s portfolio of hardware products and software solutions
- Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans specifically tailored to the DMR channel
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align channel initiatives with the broader organization’s business goals
- Identify and pursue new opportunities to expand market reach and channel effectiveness
- Optimize CRM systems to track leads, manage interactions and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Partner with Promethean channel marketing to drive marketing strategy and execution with the DMR partners
- Host and support events in person such as floor days, workshops, webinars, and Lunch & Learns with partners and the Promethean team
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal marketing, legal and sales teams to align joint initiatives and to ensure partner success
Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience in sales channel management
- Proven experience in channel sales, partner management or business development in the technology space
- Deep understanding of reseller dynamics and the DMR business model
- Skilled in building trust-based relationships and influencing decision-makers
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution
- Passionate about transforming all vertical markets through the use of innovative technology
- Strong understanding of sales enablement, pipeline generation, and value-based partner engagement
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Experience with Salesforce, partner portals, and performance dashboards
- Highly organized, exceptional time management skills, self-directed, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Ability to travel 50% with overnight stays required (end user demos, CDW regional and national events)
