About the role
- Coordinate certification testing at external laboratories.
- Review test reports and certification documentation to verify compliance.
- Manage the periodic renewal of product certifications to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Maintain accurate compliance documentation and certification records.
- Maintain compliance status and certification data within Salesforce.
- Respond to sales team queries regarding compliance requirements and certification status.
- Manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and New Product Introductions (NPIs) through the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
- Create and update compliance labels using Adobe Illustrator
- Collaborate with external agencies to define, request, and track the progress of technical publications such as Quick Installation Guides (QIGs), Safety Guides (SGs) and Declarations of Conformance (DoCs).
- Undertake ongoing training and maintain familiarity with all relevant certifications applicable to Promethean’s hardware portfolio.
- Use Jira to track and record work activities.
- Provide updates in project meetings regarding the current status of compliance, NPIs & ECRs and TPs.
- Update CAD files using Solidworks and PDM (desirable)
Requirements
- Degree in an Engineering subject preferably with a design or mechanical bias
- 2- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- CAD (desirable)
