About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • As an Interventional Radiology Technician (IR Tech), you will support a variety of IV surgical procedures.
  • Set up the angiographic suite for each IV procedure including preparing contrast and IV solutions, calculating fluids and contrast materials and assembling supplies.
  • Communicate with the patient about the procedure and address any concerns from them or their family.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed formal radiologic technology training at an AMA approved school or a school that is accredited through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).
  • Must be registered by the ARRT
  • Additional registry in cardiovascular /interventional.
