About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the practice runs smoothly and efficiently while fostering a collaborative environment prioritizing patient care and staff satisfaction.
- Provide oversight for scheduling and payroll as well as track physician vacation time.
- Keep records of staff continuing education and certification.
- Work with the physician/manager to develop and implement department policies, systems, and processes to promote both quality and efficiency.
- Help develop and monitor office budgets.
- Prepare staff performance reviews and hold staff accountable to performance and service standards.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of progressively responsible supervisory and administrative experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or health services related field (preferred)
- 2+ years supervisory experience (preferred)
- Clinical experience (preferred)
