About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of non-clinical Epic software applications
- work with operational teams across ProMedica
- serve as a mentor for less experienced IT EMR staff
- plan implementation and upgrade clinical systems ensuring adequate testing, quality assurance and documentation of changes
- train IT employees and advise end-users in the operation of their information system
- support the training team by keeping trainers informed of new functions and system changes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years of relevant clinical experience
- Must achieve Epic certification in primary application within 90 days of completing the first Epic class
- Bachelor's degree or 3 years experience in Information Technology (preferred)
- IT background
- 5 – 7 years relevant clinical experience (preferred)
- Epic certification (preferred)
