About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of non-clinical Epic software applications
work with operational teams across ProMedica
serve as a mentor for less experienced IT EMR staff
plan implementation and upgrade clinical systems ensuring adequate testing, quality assurance and documentation of changes
train IT employees and advise end-users in the operation of their information system
support the training team by keeping trainers informed of new functions and system changes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
3 years of relevant clinical experience
Must achieve Epic certification in primary application within 90 days of completing the first Epic class
Bachelor's degree or 3 years experience in Information Technology (preferred)
IT background
5 – 7 years relevant clinical experience (preferred)
Epic certification (preferred)
