About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage front-end development stages of capital projects.
Oversee project development and entitlements managing local approval processes, air permitting, and knowledge of building permit packages.
Manage engineering resources to complete initial design basis memoranda and mature those as Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) packages.
Coordinate supplier relationships with Procurement and manage their scope development.
Support investment decisions through technical diligence, risk analysis, and partner with finance on ROI modeling.

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of capital projects development experience in the power industry, preferably involving Energy Storage, Power Generation, Hydrogen Systems, Islanded Power Generation, Combined Heat & Power.
BS or MS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Experience with major project budget management and cost coding.
High degree of comfort in excel and budget reporting software.
Similar with project planning processes and comfort with planning tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet or equivalent.
Must be able to evaluate and integrate emerging energy technologies (e.g., hydrogen, microgrids, hybrid systems) into program roadmaps.
