About the role
- Lead competitive sourcing and negotiations for EPC selection and renewable energy projects.
- Develop category expertise across energy and renewables, including supply chains, cost drivers, and key suppliers.
- Build and enhance strategic buying programs by consolidating suppliers, aggregating spend, and standardizing solutions.
- Monitor market trends and supply chain risks, including cost volatility, supplier health, regulatory factors, sustainability requirements and deliver actionable risk mitigation solutions.
- Manage multiple sourcing initiatives end-to-end, setting performance standards and adapting strategies as needed.
- Partner closely with stakeholders to define requirements, align expectations, and foster collaborative relationships.
- Ensure accuracy and rigor in contracts and Procurement documentation.
- Support the evolution of Procurement and promote a culture of effective spend management.
- Travel as needed (10–20% domestically and internationally).
Requirements
- 5+ years of procurement and sourcing experience, including negotiations, contracting, supplier management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree required (Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred); MBA a plus.
- Experience conducting and evaluating RFPs for renewable energy vendors and technologies.
- Proven success reducing total cost of ownership, managing risk, and improving supplier performance.
- Confidence to deliver effective recommendations and influence cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
