About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute functional and exploratory manual tests on web and/or mobile features.
- Test critical flows under different conditions: browsers, devices, error scenarios and edge cases.
- Identify, log and classify bugs with full context (steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual behavior, evidence).
- Track the lifecycle of each bug until the fix is validated.
- Create, maintain and update test plans based on specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with engineers to reproduce and understand bugs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of quality processes, promoting testing best practices and a testing culture within the squad.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience with manual software testing (web and/or mobile).
- Ability to write clear, reproducible test cases.
- Skill in documenting bugs with appropriate technical context.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban).
- Experience with task and bug tracking tools (Jira, Linear, Trello or similar).
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Ability to quickly learn new tools and apply them practically.
- Autonomy to structure your own process without constant direction.
- Use of AI tools in day-to-day work for documentation, test case generation, log analysis or automations.
- Not required, but we’ll be excited if you have:
- Experience automating flows using N8N, Zapier or similar.
- Basic SQL knowledge for validating data in the database.
- Experience with API testing (Postman, Insomnia or similar).
- Understanding of programming logic or automation scripting (Cypress, Playwright or similar).
- Familiarity with BDD and writing scenarios in Gherkin.
