About the role
- Develop and enhance backend services in Java with a focus on performance and scalability;
- Analyze and resolve production issues (taking ownership of the problem);
- Participate in technical decisions with the team (architecture, design, trade-offs);
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code;
- Conduct code reviews with a critical mindset (do not approve out of convenience);
- Collaborate with product and design to deliver real value;
- Monitor and improve system health (logs, metrics, stability);
- Continuously work to reduce technical debt;
- Use AI tools, such as Windsurf, to support fast and agile deliveries.
Requirements
- Practical experience with Java and Spring Boot;
- Experience developing REST APIs;
- Knowledge of relational databases (SQL);
- Experience with version control using Git;
- Strong understanding of object-oriented principles and best practices (Clean Code, SOLID);
- Experience with automated testing (unit and/or integration tests);
- Ability to debug and resolve issues independently;
- Good communication skills for working effectively in a team.
