About the role
- Support for over 130 employees across five locations in Germany
- Planning, provisioning, operation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, IT services, and systems
- Ensuring smooth operation of IT infrastructure and services
- Ensuring IT security
- Evaluating, configuring, and implementing system extensions to meet new requirements
- Managing IT procurement as well as supplier and resource management
Requirements
- Good degree in an IT-related field or equivalent vocational training
- Professional experience in system and network administration
- Technical knowledge in the following areas: Windows or Linux servers (Ubuntu); web services (Apache, IIS); mail services (MS Exchange, Postfix); IP networking in LAN and WAN; DHCP & DNS; network and system monitoring/management (Nagios, SNMP); experience with virtualization (VMware)
