About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with Global BPs, fellow Regional BPs, COEs and local leaders, managers and employees to plan for and execute HR programs, initiatives
- Act as the subject matter expert on US labor law
- Lead or contribute to site HR activities/events
- Collaborate with teams outside of HR on cross-functional projects
- Collaborate with Global HRBPs, Talent & Culture team and other HR COEs on HR program readiness
- Review and analyze regional and country-level employee engagement results
- Develop knowledge of Progress's various organization and build relationships with key stakeholders
- Advise and support managers and employees through performance assessment/feedback program execution
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues
- Play a key role in various aspects of the M&A lifecycle
- Collaborate closely with the HR Services team on transactional/operational HR responsibilities
- Independently review and successfully resolve high-complexity issues and situations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in relevant course of study
- 6+ years in a regional HR role; experience in other aspects of HR a plus
- Experience working with all levels of leaders and employees
- Experience in effectively presenting to groups, facilitating meetings, etc.
- Experience handling complex employee relations matters
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to manage multiple responsibilities, projects, etc. at one time
- Works well within a team and as autonomously
- Experience working in a global organization, effectively collaborating across time zones and cultures
