About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and execute customer renewal cycles to minimize churn and maximize retention and expansion
  • Act as the primary point of contact for existing customers, ensuring high satisfaction and long‑term value
  • Proactively identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities within the installed base
  • Conduct customer presentations and product demonstrations in collaboration with Pre‑Sales
  • Tailor messaging to customer business needs and clearly articulate value propositions
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasts, and activity tracking in CRM
  • Provide regular and reliable forecast updates to management
  • Collaborate with marketing, customer support, and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Share insights and feedback with the team to enhance overall sales and customer retention strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Fluent in both written and verbal in German
  • Solid sales experience, with a focus on both new business development and retention
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a similar role
  • Outstanding time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Willing to travel on ad hoc basis to customer and channel engagements, support tradeshows, events, and companywide activities
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Results-driven with a customer-centric approach
  • Experience in new business development alongside renewals
  • Exposure to 2‑tier distribution / partner ecosystems
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, partner events, or trade shows
