About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Customer support: You are the primary technical point of contact for our customers—ranging from proactive consulting and second-level support to designing and implementing complex infrastructure setups.
- System administration: Using AI concepts and automated workflows, you take our processes to the next level. You ensure a clean, maintainable handover to operations, maintain high service quality, and bring your team along through active knowledge transfer.
- Customer cluster management: You manage our customer clusters based on Ubuntu within a virtual LXD environment and ensure they run smoothly.
- Monitoring and optimization: You further develop and optimize our monitoring system to ensure that our systems and services run reliably and efficiently.
- Service projects & interfaces: You lead your own projects and refine our internal tools. As a reliable anchor, you proactively represent your team’s interests across departments.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You have completed vocational training as an IT specialist in system integration, hold a degree in computer science, have a comparable qualification, or possess equivalent professional experience.
- You have experience in administering Linux servers and ideally specific knowledge of Debian or Ubuntu.
- You have solid experience with web servers such as Apache and nginx.
- You have initial experience working with databases like MySQL and MariaDB.
- Ideally, you have prior experience with e‑commerce systems such as Magento or Shopware.
