About the role

  • Support start-to-finish construction project(s), including installation of building foundation, structural steel, Mechanical, Electrical, & Plumbing (MEP) Systems, and infrastructure
  • Support the development, implementation, and management of a QA/QC control plans across all phases of the construction project
  • Attend Project Meetings, create reports, and maintain Quality Related documentation
  • Inspect and verify the quality of site development, civil work, foundations, structural steel, and MEP systems
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, industry standards, clients' and manufacturers' requirements, and project specifications
  • Responsible for filing and maintaining all quality documentation and files
  • Work closely with contractors and subcontractors to enforce quality standards, provide technical support and guidance, and resolve any issues that may arise on site.
  • Review and evaluate Construction & MEP drawings, Equipment Layouts, and Installation procedures for completeness and compliance

Requirements

  • Min 5 + years of Construction Quality (QA/QC) of Industrial and/or Large Commercial Projects
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining Construction Quality Standards
  • Solid understanding and knowledge of Civil and MEP Systems, including installation, documentation, and commissioning.
  • Experience working and communicating with Engineering, Contractors, and Trades.
  • Excellent Communication skills, verbal & written.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, CAD System(s), Procore, Bluebeam
