About the role
- We are seeking a detail-oriented Division Manager to assist with a short-term language identification project. The role involves evaluating content against specific guidelines and recording accurate results. This is a one-day project that requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently within a set deadline. See below for more details, including pay rate.
- Regular and prompt communication in English
- Review video links provided
- Identify whether each video contains the target language
- Manage time effectively to complete work within the deadline
- Communicate any issues or uncertainties to the project lead
- Ensure all assigned tasks are completed in full
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism while handling project materials
- Payment details: Payment will be made on a 60-day pay cycle; PayPal, Payoneer or otherwise agreed upon method; Productive Playhouse will cover platform fees; pay rate in USD
Requirements
- Full proficiency in the Mizo language (ISO: lus )
- Professional work experience in Linguistics, Translation, Transcription or localization, strongly preferred
- Proficiency in computer and internet skills
- Competency on both MAC and PC platforms, Microsoft Applications, and G Suite
- Strong grammar, orthography, and punctuation skills; a proficiency test will be required
- Responsive with timely email access
- Effective web search skills
- Ability to onboard within two weeks
- Preferred, experience using Upwork
