About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive deployment excellence across a distributed AWS microservices platform
Partner with engineering teams, Tech Leads, and centralized DevOps squads
Build a reliable, scalable, and automated software delivery platform
Design, scale, and maintain enterprise pipelines and automate cloud infrastructure provisioning
Manage cluster availability, security, networking, ingress, and service mesh traffic management
Coordinate cross-team releases, Git branching strategies, and database version control/rollback strategies
Build platform monitoring, logging, and metrics dashboards while supporting incident response and root-cause analysis (RCA)
Partner with Dev Leads to remove deployment blockers, align on infrastructure standards, and manage cross-service dependencies

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or SRE supporting production microservices on Kubernetes
AWS, Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Istio (preferred), Envoy Proxy (preferred)
GitHub Actions, Spinnaker, Git, Jenkins (preferred)
Nexus Repository, Amazon ECR, Liquibase (database schema migrations)
Splunk, Fluent Bit, Prometheus, Grafana, Amazon CloudWatch
SonarQube, Playwright, Jest, Bash, Node.js (preferred)
Apigee X, REST APIs, Microservices Architecture, Kubernetes-based platforms
Strong communication, proactive risk management, and a commitment to operational excellence.
