About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Architect, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, VPC, CloudFront, etc.)
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK
- Monitor system health, performance, and cost using CloudWatch, Datadog, or similar tools
- Enforce security best practices — IAM policies, KMS, GuardDuty, security groups, and compliance frameworks
- Support disaster recovery planning, backup strategies, and incident response
- Collaborate with developers to optimize application deployments and container orchestration
- Evaluate and recommend new AWS services and architectural improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5+ years of hands-on AWS experience
- AWS certification (Solutions Architect, SysOps, or DevOps Engineer — Associate or Professional)
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
- Strong experience with IaC tools (Terraform preferred)
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, VPN, routing)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes / EKS)
