About the role
- Lead a team of three or more Account Executives to achieve ambitious growth goals.
- Build, mentor, and manage Account Executives to consistently exceed quota.
- Develop and execute territory and account strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Coach Account Executives on pipeline development, sales methodology, and deal execution.
- Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to align sales strategies with market opportunities.
- Forecast sales performance and deliver regular updates to leadership.
- Cultivate a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer success.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software sales, including 2+ years in a management or team lead role.
- Proven track record of managing teams that consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, and other sales enablement platforms.
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Experience in SaaS sales with a focus on government contractors or regulated industries.
- Ability to work remotely, must be based in Reston, VA area.
- A collaborative and motivating leadership style.
