About the role

  • Lead a team of three or more Account Executives to achieve ambitious growth goals.
  • Build, mentor, and manage Account Executives to consistently exceed quota.
  • Develop and execute territory and account strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Coach Account Executives on pipeline development, sales methodology, and deal execution.
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to align sales strategies with market opportunities.
  • Forecast sales performance and deliver regular updates to leadership.
  • Cultivate a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer success.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software sales, including 2+ years in a management or team lead role.
  • Proven track record of managing teams that consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, and other sales enablement platforms.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
  • Experience in SaaS sales with a focus on government contractors or regulated industries.
  • Ability to work remotely, must be based in Reston, VA area.
  • A collaborative and motivating leadership style.
