About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the planning and execution of post-merger integration activities by coordinating workstreams, tracking milestones, and managing dependencies across functional teams.
- Partner with Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Operations, and other stakeholders to align integration timelines, deliverables, and key business objectives.
- Analyze financial, operational, and organizational data from acquired companies to identify synergies, risks, and integration priorities.
- Build and maintain integration trackers, dashboards, and executive status reports to provide visibility into progress, risks, and key decisions.
- Facilitate working sessions, stand-ups, and cross-functional meetings to identify blockers, drive accountability, and keep integration plans on track.
- Support Day 1 and first-100-days readiness planning, including communications, change management activities, and operational alignment.
- Document integration processes, decisions, and lessons learned to continuously improve future M&A playbooks and best practices.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in finance, M&A, strategy, business operations, consulting, or a related field.
- Experience supporting complex cross-functional projects, ideally within mergers, acquisitions, integrations, or transformation initiatives.
- Strong financial analysis skills with experience working across financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar ERP/consolidation platforms.
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyze, reconcile, and synthesize complex financial and operational data.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, track dependencies, and drive execution without direct authority.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial and operational concepts for both technical and executive audiences.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with competing priorities.
