About the role
- Lead the planning and movement of data from clients legacy systems to our IntelliPen suite of products
- Design data mapping and transformation logic
- Develop automated migration scripts
- Validate the integrity of the migrated data, including reconciliations and validation
- Troubleshoot and optimise queries and database structures during migrations
- Work collaboratively as part of the Client Success Delivery team to implement software systems for clients
- Participate in large-scale data migration projects, primarily within pensions and financial services
Requirements
- Data Migration experience
- Proficient in the use of T-SQL
- Proficient in XML
- Proven track record in designing and implementing data migration solutions, including data mapping, transformation, reconciliations and validation
- Strong understanding of database design principles, data modelling, and normalisation
- Strong understanding of database structures, principles, and practices, with experience in relational databases such as SQL Server
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimise queries and database structures for improved performance and resource management
- Proven experience in large-scale data migration projects, preferably within the pensions or financial services industry
- Skilled in ETL processes, data cleansing, and mapping strategies
- Experience in implementing software systems
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and customer service skills
- Able to work well as part of a team
