About the role

  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape to shape product direction.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement within FinTech, Payroll, and Banking domains.
  • Translate product strategy into detailed feature requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize and groom the product backlog to maximize value delivery.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, QA, and architecture teams to ensure high-quality product releases.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and product or engineering teams.
  • Communicate product plans, progress, and risks clearly and effectively.
  • Partner with compliance, security, and operations teams to ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards.
  • Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery and ideation to launch and post-release optimization.
  • Track KPIs, product performance, and customer feedback to drive data-driven decision making.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-impact features and continuous enhancement of the product experience.
  • Mentor junior product managers and contribute to building a strong product culture.
  • Champion agile practices and foster a collaborative working environment.
  • Drive a customer-first mindset across teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in FinTech, Payroll, Banking, or Financial Services.
  • Strong understanding of financial workflows such as payments, payroll processing, compliance, tax calculations, reconciliation, banking operations, or financial reporting.
  • Proven experience in delivering enterprise-grade digital products.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with regulatory and compliance frameworks in financial domains.
  • Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and cloud platforms.
  • Exposure to data analytics, financial automation tools, or payroll technology platforms.
  • Certifications such as CSPO, PSPO, PMP, or SAFe Product Owner or Product Manager.
