About the role

  • Assist in conducting **vulnerability assessments and penetration testing** on networks, systems, and web applications.
  • Support the analysis of security testing results and help prepare **detailed vulnerability reports** with remediation recommendations.
  • Work closely with senior VAPT analysts to learn and apply **penetration testing tools, techniques, and methodologies**.
  • Participate in **security audits and risk assessments** to evaluate the organization’s overall security posture.
  • Research emerging **cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques**, and stay updated with industry best practices.
  • Document testing methodologies, procedures, and findings to improve testing standards and processes.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with security frameworks and standards such as **OWASP, CIS, and industry best practices**.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity**, or a related discipline.
  • Mandatory entry-level cybersecurity certifications such as:
  • - **CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)**
  • - **eJPT (eLearnSecurity Junior Penetration Tester)**
  • - **CompTIA Security+**
  • - or other relevant entry-level security certifications
  • Strong understanding of **networking concepts**, protocols, and architectures.
  • Basic knowledge of **operating systems** (Windows, Linux) and **web applications**.
  • Familiarity with security tools and frameworks such as:
  • - Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit
  • - Burp Suite, OWASP Top 10
  • Understanding of common vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and remediation techniques.
  • Strong **analytical and problem-solving abilities**.
  • Good written and verbal **communication skills**.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a **team-oriented environment**.
  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Passion for cybersecurity with a strong desire to **learn and grow** in the field.
